Somewhere near the North Pole in a town called Trysil Norway the Santa Claus of surfing has delivered perfect surf, a man made wave called the FlowRider® Single. At Latitude +61° 18' 24.48" N, Longitude +12° 14' 40.20" E, this is Wave Loch’s northern most FlowRider beating out Bo, Norway and Great Falls, Montana, by the slimmest of margins. Luckily for the Norwegians, this ride is indoors and installed at the Radisson SAS Resort, so you could be surfing all year round.
On August 15th, 2008 Wave Loch, Inc. signed a contract with Leo Meridian Resorts for the installation of a FlowRider Action River. This made history, as not only was it the first FlowRider sale in India, but it was the first FlowRider Action River sold in this new configuration.
In the midst of a banner year, Wave Loch, Inc has just introduced the FlowRider JR, an amazing line extension of the FlowRider® family of sheet wave attractions. The JR, as we affectionately call it, was designed to accommodate a location with a nominal amount of space, but still wanting the look, feel, and shear “rippability” of the FlowRider®. With an attraction footprint of 5.5m x 12.8m, JR fits into the tightest spots possible.
